Fastpitch - Softball Nation

Each team must have a completed roster before being allowed to participate in any SoftballNation event.

For youth teams, parental permission must be given and the roster must be signed.

Establishing Your Team:
Once a player participates with a team in the current season, she is considered a member of that team and should be on that team's roster with proper signatures.

Guest Players:
Softballnation allows for teams to invite one guest player to participate with them in some (non state championships, non post season) tournaments. A guest player may not pitch at any time. The coach must also notify the tournament director of his intention to use a guest player prior to the player participating. Only one guest player may be used in a tournament.

Being a guest player does not constitute a player release and does not exhaust a player's use of her right to be released from a team.

Player Release:
A player may be released from a team one time during the current season. Please read the player release form below for complete details. A player only has one move in the current season and once released, may not return to her original team.

Your Participation:
By participating with a team (other than as a guest player), a player is declaring his/her intention to be a member of that team. If the player's name is not on the team's roster, he/she is considered an ineligible player and may be removed from the tournament immediately and the team may be required to forfeit the game and may possibly be removed from the tournament without refund.
 

For tournament play: all teams should have a completed roster with appropriate signatures and by participating with SoftballNation, all teams agree to follow the guidelines set by the organization and agree to the following waivers:

Waiver:
In consideration of being permitted to participate as a member team with SoftballNation/ Sportsnation , I hereby agree for myself, successor, heirs and assigns, release and forever discharge Sportsnation.org, and Softballnation, their employees, officers, and directors from all claims, actions or judgements I may have or claim to have against Sportsnation.org/Softballnation for all personal injuries, including death, and injuries to property, real or personal, caused by or arising out of my participation with Sportsnation/Softballnation, - either Leagues or Tournaments. I further agree for myself, successor, heirs and assigns to indemnify and hold Sportsnation/Softballnation harmless from all claims and suits for personal injuries, including death, damages to property caused by my act of omission arising out of participation with Sportsnation/Softballnation and from all judgements recovered and from all expenses incurred in defending said claims or suits. I further agree that my photographs, pictures, slides or movies taken or made by Sportsnation/Softballnation, their employees, officers and directors, in connection with my participation with Sportsnation/Softballnation either leagues or tournaments, or any reproduction of the same, as well as my name, may in any manner be used by Sportsnation/Softballnation, or by any person, corporation or association authorized by Sportsnation/Softballnation. I am in good health and have no physical condition that would prevent me from participating in Sportsnation/Softballnation events.
